Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forests

After an early breakfast leave Kampala and proceed in the direction of Fort Portal traversing along the Great Rift Valley and the Rwenzori Mountain ranges could be seen at a good range as you progress to Fort Portal town. Lunch en–route.

Accommodations: Isunga Lodge, Kibale Forest Camp, Chimpanzee Guest House.

7 Days Primates and Gorilla SafariDay 2: Chimpanzee tracking and later Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park

An early breakfast, continue to the Chimpanzee Tracking Headquarters for a briefing open to meet up with the world’s 99% Human Apes. “Chimpanzees are also one of the largest primates in the world.

After you your back have lunch and relax and Have an Evening Bigodi Nature walk then later Check in for overnight and dinner at your accommodation preference.

Day 3:  Transfer to Queen Elizabeth

Have Breakfast and continue further down following the mystical mountain ranges to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an evening game drive to look out for the Animals.

Day 4: Queen Elizabeth Safari activities

This morning after your early breakfast, have another game drive in the North of the park and have a chance to spot the Uganda Kobs, elephants, lions, and later after lunch,

Afternoon safari by boat on the Kazinga channel connecting both Lake George and Edward. This evening, spend the time off at leisure and later prepare for dinner and overnight at accommodation of your choice.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi via the Ishasha Sector

Depart the northern side of the park and drive southwards to the Ishasha sector the area famed for the tree climbing lions.

As you drive through, you may see wildlife and also tree climbing lions. Spend the rest of the evening with another game drive and try out your luck. Then drive to Bwindi Forests to your lodge at leisure for dinner and overnight.

7 Days Primates and Gorilla SafariDay 6: Bwindi – Gorilla Tracking Day

You will need a Daypack, 2 liters of water, jeans, long-sleeved shirt, hat, sunglasses; tough gardening gloves made of cotton to help you in pulling yourself up on branches and vines, a hat also comes in handy.

A light Rain jacket and hiking boots are best for your Gorilla Trek adventure. You can buy a walking stick and use a porter to carry your things if you so with (optional) – the latter two are optional and not included in safari price.

The Gorilla Trek can be 5 plus hours depending on which group you are tracking – gorillas move daily and before you even go on the trek – pre-trackers are out there locating your gorilla family that you have been assigned.

This Evening – We will drive to Lake Bunyonyi for an Overnight. (In case we make it earlier in the afternoon, you will have to enjoy the best view of the lake Bunyonyi and you can decide to have a Cruise on this lake as well).

Day 7: Transfer back to Entebbe/ Kampala.

This morning, have breakfast at leisure and later, transfer back to Kampala with lunch en-route and wonderful photography at the equator. This day is reserved for evening flights through Entebbe International airport.
