Detailed 2 Days Murchison Falls Itinerary
DAY 01: To Murchison Falls National Park
After an early breakfast or packed breakfast, we begin our panoramic drive northwards through the famous Luwero Triangle via Masindi. We shall have a packed lunch from Masindi and thereafter proceed to the Murchison Falls Main gate. Check in to the park and drive straight to the ferry area to catch up with the 2’oclock Boat cruise to the Bottom of the falls.
After lunch, go for a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, an experience not to be missed!! Here you will see the River Nile said to be the Longest river in the world crushing through a narrow gorge and forming the magnificent Murchison Falls. While on the cruise you may see Hippos, Crocodiles, Elephants, Waterbucks and Uganda Kobs among others. This is also the zone of many birds, with species like Goliath Heron, Egyptian Geese, Pelicans, Bee-eaters, Kingfishers, Hornbill, Cormorant and the rare Shoebill stork. Depending on the accommodation facility, if we are staying at Pakuba Lodge we have a chance of doing an evening game drive route to the lodge

DAY 02: In Murchison Falls National Park
Today we head for an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile. This is a beautiful drive across Borassus Palm Forest and grassland savanna down to Lake Albert where the Albert Nile heads north to the Sudan.
Animals you may see include; Elephants, Lions, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s Giraffe, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, Spotted Hyena and if you are lucky we can also sight the rear Leopard in the park. Thereafter transfer to Kampala/Entebbe.
End of Safari and back to your area of residence

What to Expect
The 2 days Murchison Falls National Park Safari begins and ends in your area of residence [Home, Hotel, Lodge, Guest House etc..] Our professional guide/driver will make your pick up early in the morning [6:00 am] after that morning breakfast or even packed breakfast then back to our route to the Murchison falls national park. Passing through the capital Kampala, head towards the north-west of the capital passing through the famous 80’s war town, Luwero Triangle and stop over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the first member of the African Big 5 family, the White Rhino for about 1.5 hours or less on foot. You’ll make it in time for lunch in Masindi, a town close to the entrance of Murchison Falls National Park where we will have an evening game drive then we shall spend a night in one of the lodges in the park.
The Morning of the second and the end day of our 2 Days Murchison Falls Safari experience is our big Africa 5 hunt down day to catch the other 4 of the Africa big five game family.
