The ‘wildlife bus with a bit of history’, taking you from the city of Nairobi through the vast pineapple, tea and coffee plantations in central Kenya to Nyeri where you visit Baden Powell Mausoleum the founder of the Scouts movement in Kenya. Crossing the equator to Samburu/buffalo springs offer you great game drives and a variety game only found on the north of the equator. Lake Nakuru with its rich birdlife and the famous Masai Mara will leave you awed to the wilderness and culture found in Kenya.

DETAILED SAFARI ITINERARY
DAY 1: NAIROBI TO ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK

Depart after breakfast from your Nairobi hotel travelling northwards past the coffee and pineapple plantations of central Kenya for lunch at the Aberdares Country Club. Game drive through the forest where varied species of game can be seen along the way to your tree hotel at The Treetops Hotel. Whilst here you will be able to watch game from your hotel balcony, which overlooks a floodlit waterhole. Overnight stay at Treetops Lodge or similar
DAY 2: ABERDARE TO SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

Depart Aberdare for Samburu National reserve arriving in time for lunch. We have our first game drive in this beautiful park in search of lions, elephants, leopards and cheetahs. Dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge or similar
DAY 3: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE

After an early morning breakfast, we start our morning game drive in search of wildlife. Samburu National Park is a unique wildlife sanctuary and it is popular with animal enthusiasts. Plenty of wildlife can be found in this unique park include the Grévy’s zebra which has thinner black and white stripes. Lions, elephants, buffaloes and leopards are some of the Big Five found in this park. All meals and overnight stay at camp/lodge.
DAY 4: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE TO LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Depart Samburu after breakfast and leave for Lake Nakuru arriving in time for Lunch, game drive until late afternoon. Lake Nakuru’s main attractions are the Pink flamingos and the white rhinos. There are plenty of wildlife which include lions, cheetahs, leopards, buffalos, monkeys, gazelles, zebras and antelopes. We later drive back to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay at camp/lodge.
We have an early morning breakfast then we depart Nakuru which is a long drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve. We have lunch at camp/lodge. We go for our first game drive in the afternoon till dusk. Some of the famous wild animals include: lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephants. Dinner and overnight stay at camp/lodge.
DAY 6 AND 7: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

We explore the Mara region, packed with the elephant, zebra, rhino and all kinds of game through out the year with the spectacular wildebeest migration from Serengeti occurring mainly in July and August. Indeed, you have the best opportunity of seeing all the big five animals. Dinner and overnight stay at camp/lodge.
DAY 8: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE TO NAIROBI

After breakfast we depart Masai Mara and have a stop over at Narok town, a rich Masai town and have a chance to buy souvenirs from the locals. Arrive in Nairobi late in the afternoon. We will drop you off to your hotel or we will take you to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport depending on your request.
